Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead Building Automation System (BAS) projects in Houston, TX. This is a high-impact role responsible for overseeing all phases of BAS project delivery—from pre-construction planning and design coordination to installation, commissioning, and closeout. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage BAS projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule, and scope.
• Coordinate across internal engineering, programming, and field installation teams, as well as with external contractors, vendors, and clients.
• Oversee project schedules, resource allocation, procurement, and subcontractor activities.
• Review system designs and submittals, and ensure adherence to technical requirements and industry standards.
• Facilitate site coordination, installation progress, and system commissioning.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including RFIs, change orders, project logs, testing protocols, and final closeout packages.
• Provide timely updates to stakeholders, lead project meetings, and proactively identify and resolve project risks.
• Support continuous improvement by sharing lessons learned and contributing to process optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Building Automation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 4 years of project management experience in BAS, mechanical/electrical systems, or controls integration.
• Solid understanding of BAS platforms such as Tridium, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, or Schneider Electric.
• Proficient knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical controls, and commissioning practices.
• Strong skills in MS Project, Excel, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD or similar software.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
• PMP certification or formal project management training is preferred.
