Job Description

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist with expertise in working with metal components. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and be capable of performing full machine setups independently. This role involves machining a variety of metal materials to precise specifications using CNC mills and/or lathes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines for metal part production, including tool selection, fixturing, and program loading.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications with GD&T to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Machine a variety of metals, including steel, aluminum, stainless, and alloys.
• Perform in-process inspections using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
• Adjust offsets and tooling as needed to maintain tight tolerances.
• Troubleshoot setup or machining issues and collaborate with engineering or programming teams as necessary.
• Maintain equipment and follow all safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, specifically with metals.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting GD&T and complex technical drawings.
• Solid understanding of machining properties of various metals.
• Experience with full setups and working independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with CNC controls (e.g., Haas, Fanuc) is a plus.
