🚀 About Us: Universal Piping Industries (UPI) is a leader in the design, fabrication and installation of mechanical piping systems and HVAC systems for industrial and commercial facilities.

🧩 Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on, tech-savvy Project Manager (PM) to lead full-cycle construction projects in the industrial mechanical space. This role blends project ownership, technical insight, relationship-building, and business acumen. If you thrive in dynamic environments and can sell, scope, and manage complex projects from scratch—you’ll fit right in.

📌 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of mechanical projects (HVAC, piping, and plumbing), from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project scopes, objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage project teams, subcontractors, and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or obstacles.
• Ensure project meets or exceeds industry standards, client specifications, and relevant codes and safety regulations.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to mechanical systems and provide expert guidance to the project team.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation and prepare regular reports on project progress, performance, and budget matters.

🌟 Required Skills & Attributes:

• Experience managing construction projects - ideally HVAC, Piping and Utility installations.
• Ability to lead and foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• The ability to develop and execute effective project strategies, anticipate potential challenges, and implement proactive solutions.
• Willingness to travel and mobility.

💡 Bonus Skills:

• Estimating.
• Solid understanding and previous experience working with Mechanical and Process Piping and Equipment.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills to address project challenges and ensure successful outcomes.
