Job Description
Education & Qualifications: Must be a minimum of 14 years of age to comply with child labor laws. Must be able to work in various weather conditions. Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. and a maximum of 50 lbs. on occasion. Must be able to communicate clearly and always maintain and project a positive attitude and professional demeanor when interacting with team members and guests. Must have basic math skills for game operations, merchandise pricing, retail sales, and inventory functions. Must operate a Point of Sale (POS) register to record merchandise sales, game plays, and awarding prizes. Must maintain a well-groomed appearance at all times. Must be able to work with others or independently. Starting rate of pay for employees 14 or 15 years old is $7.50/hour. Starting rate of pay for employees 16 years old and older is $11.00.
Essential Functions:
- Must be able to work in either a game or retail store location.
- Operate all games, retail stores, and warehouse locations according to the standard operating procedures of the Games and Retail Department.
- Operate the Pont of Sale (POS) register according to the standard operating procedures for the Games & Retail Department
- Provide superior guest service and positive guests relations to our internal and external guests.
- Abide by all company and department rules, regulations, and policies.
- Ability to communicate efficiently to internal and external guests.
- Ability to communicate using a microphone.
- Must have basic math skills for game sales, merchandise pricing, retail sales, and inventory functions.
- Maintain all aspects of the game or retail work area the team member is scheduled to work. This includes, but is not limited to, workstation safety and inspections, cleanliness, equipment operation, proper display of merchandise or prizes, restocking merchandise, and theft prevention.
- Maintain the prize and merchandise displays and stock in your game or stores to entice guests to purchase merchandise or play games.
- Adhere to all safety policies and report any unsafe issues to the director, manager, or team leaders.
- Maintain an organized department and work environment.
- Must be able to work effectively individually or in a group setting.
- Must work in various weather and environmental conditions including but not limited to direct or indirect sunlight, heat, humidity, rain, hail, cold.
- Safely operate a golf cart to transport merchandise If 18 years of age or over, with a valid PA driver's license. May also be a passenger on a golf cart to assist fellow team members as per company policy.
Other Responsibilities:
- Maintain and protect employee, customer, and consumer confidentiality.
- Report to and from work at assigned time.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Must be honest and reliable.
- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere and assist co-workers on an ongoing basis.
- Adhere to dress code policy.
