Position Overview
We're looking for a hands-on, execution-focused Senior Visual & Web Designer to lead and execute high-impact design projects that shape Retell AI's website, visual identity, and marketing presence. In this role, you'll independently drive the creation of visually compelling web experiences, brand assets, and marketing materials that tell our product story and elevate our brand across all touchpointsfrom digital ads to conference billboards.

This is a cross-functional role where design precision, ownership, and visual storytelling come together. If you're energized by building from scratch, iterating quickly, and seeing signs come to life across product, web, and marketingyou're likely to thrive here.

Key Responsibilities

Website Design (Primary Focus)

• Own and maintain Retell AI's marketing website (Webflow), ensuring a cohesive, modern, and performance-optimized experience.
• Build, update, and optimize landing pages to support product launches, campaigns, and A/B testing.
• Collaborate with product, growth, and engineering teams to ensure seamless user experience and implementation.
• Develop responsive layouts and components that scale across devices.
• Design and maintain a visual system across web pagestypography, icons, motion, and layout.
• Use data (analytics, feedback) to iterate and improve design performance.

Brand & Visual Identity

• Develop and evolve the Retell brand system across digital and print: typography, color, logos, and components.
• Create visual assets for marketing campaigns, paid ads, social media, and presentations.
• Design for physical activations, including event signage, swag, and billboards.
• Maintain brand consistency across all public-facing touchpoints.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to push creative direction.

Marketing Design Support

• Design visuals for ads (Google, LinkedIn, etc.), email templates, decks, and case studies.
• Help translate complex product stories into clean, visual narratives.
• Support product storytelling with diagrams, illustrations, and icons.
• Occasionally support video/motion design projects (bonus).

Additional Responsibilities (Startup Environment)

• Take ownership of key design projects from concept to execution with minimal oversight.
• Work closely with founders on positioning and visual storytelling.
• Contribute to product launch campaigns and creative direction.
• Support cross-functional needs when required (e.g., quick-turn graphics, product visuals).
• Help document and scale design standards as the team grows.

You Might Be a Fit If You...

• Have 4-6+ years of experience in visual/web design, preferably in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment.
• Are highly proficient in Webflow and Figma, and comfortable building and maintaining responsive websites.
• Have a sharp eye for typography, layout, and composition, and can build systems from scratch.
• Are confident creating branded visuals for both web and physical formats.
• Are comfortable working independently and taking full ownership of your projects.
• Have a portfolio that demonstrates strong brand execution and web design craft.

Bonus: experience with motion tools (After Effects, Lottie, ASAP), AI tools, or marketing experimentation.

Job Details

• Job Type: Full-time, 70 hrs/week (50 hrs onsite with flexible hours + 20 hrs remote)
• Location: Redwood City, CA, US
