This role is part of the Product, Design & Marketing team on Apple Services, focusing on media products, creator tools, cloud and commerce services, and productivity apps. Role Description As a UX Writer focused on Commerce, you will craft clear, user-friendly content to improve experiences across our services. Responsibilities include: Writing, editing, and optimizing user-facing content to facilitate purchasing and bundling experiences. Contributing to feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and educational content. Transforming complex systems into concise, compelling interface copy. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership to define product roadmaps. Incorporating feedback to enhance content and customer experience. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in UX writing or related roles. Passion for user-focused product experiences and understanding of user journeys from onboarding to error states. Experience with purchase, checkout flows, subscriptions, and commerce features. Proficiency with wireframes, specs, and design tools like Sketch. Ability to develop informed viewpoints while remaining receptive to input. Skilled in creating and editing copy, and thinking beyond words with team collaboration. Capable of managing multiple projects and reprioritizing dynamically. Strong presentation skills across organizational levels. Ability to advocate for language and build cross-functional relationships. Exceptional attention to detail. Experience contributing to style guides and shared nomenclature. Preferred Qualifications Deep curiosity about user behavior and influence through language. Understanding of industry standards and Apple’s design and editorial standards. Interest in the evolving Apple ecosystem of hardware, software, and services. Pay & Benefits Base salary ranges from $166,600 to $296,300, depending on skills and experience.
